My first reaeding experience of the historical fiction genre was 12 years ago from the first book of the Infinity Ring novel series called A Mutiny in Time. Since then, I've only read a handful of stories from this genre. But lately, as if a switch just got flipped in me, I have been binge-reading historical fiction web novels for a few weeks now. It was a hit or miss until I actually found gold in the form of Mediterranean Hegemon of Ancient Greece, a Chinese web novel written by Chen Rui.
