Manga | Protagonist Starts Farming in a Fantasy World

Slice of life saikou! I do not really understand the hate for slice of life. Well, I kind of, but to each their own. What I love about slice of life isekai is that it makes for a better down-to-earth self-insert. I'm not ashamed of that. The author does it, so there's no reason why the readers can't. The following are farming isekai stories, at least at the start, that I found interesting. One more thing is just how overworked are Japanese workers? A lot of the protagonist in these stories are stressed out and tired salarymen, you know.

Manga | Breaking Out of RPG/Adventure Party Role Stereotypes

Roles don't need to be followed to a T. There's no need to be rigid. Be versatile and follow what your heart tells you. Hmm... I didn't mean for that to be motivational. Haha. Well, after webtoons, here's another list for manga whose protagonists thought outside the box and made their skills/class their own version.

Martial Arts Manga That You Probably Missed

This is my 101st recommendation. It's hard to believe that I've posted that much to date. Crazy. It's a good thing that I cleaned up the the website a bit and made the format uniform across all rec posts before the number got even bigger. But, I digress. The manga series that I will be recommending are a little bit down-to-earth which means that they're more realistic until some supernatural elements are thrown in. Martial arts & adventure are a man's romance; it's "otoko no roman" as the Japanese say it.

Manga Whose Protagonist’s Skill Is Misunderstood

We just love to label everything. Nowadays, we basically have tier-lists of everything. However, this can also easily lead to biases that often lead to blind faith to society's standards. In the real world, this is bad, but in the fantasy world... It can often be disastrous. Well, the following are rather mellow even though the main characters have bad experiences due to having a trash skill (but not really).

Manga Whose Protagonist Was Kicked Out of His Party

It doesn't come as a surprise that a trope wasn't one when it was first introduced. A truck sends an otaku to another world, an impoverished guy obtains a cheat to turn his life around, a game addict leads the pack IRL when the game manifests in reality, a failed cultivator receives the legacy of an ancient powerhouse and so on, there are a lot of tropes that have been used to the point of banality. The titular trope maybe "new", but it's also getting saturated. The following are still at least half decent though.
