A character who can survive in hell, abyss or underworld is nothing to scoff at. Now, if such a character who has developed their abilities in hell finds a way to a world of peace, that’s basically a wolf in a flock of sheep.

After being transported into hell, he fought and ate his enemies until he found himself planted firmly on his throne, but fighting was getting dull for him, and the food… The food sucks! Kang Hyunmoo was a non-awakener who barely fed himself through a risky bottom-barrel job. One day, he received an heirloom that sent him to hell. It is a brutal place where he must rely on his cunning and few abilities to survive if he wants to go back to Earth and sell off the items that is hoarding.

For some reason, Han Daesung woke up in hell. Although he got a system, the enemies were so numerous and powerful that he had to spend decades just to find a way back home. When he finally got back to Earth, fighting still isn’t over for him because the world is in the early stages of otherworldly invasion.

Desolate Era (CN)
Ji Ning lived the majority of his life bedbound due to severe illnesses that never left him. Despite that, he used whatever means that were available to him to help others. After he died and went to the underworld, he was bound to have a better reincarnation because of the good karma that he accrued. However, plans changed when a monstrous creature came down to hell and started vaporizing the souls of the dead. In order to save his soul, Ji Ning jumped into the portal closest to him. What he picked was a mortal realm of immortals, monsters, ki refiners, and fiendgods.
My Rating: 7.5/10 (This isn’t bad, but the novel is just way better.)

There was obviously ill-intent when a trash prince was told of a ritual to summon a powerful demon. Of course, the fool dies after summoning a demon, and it wasn’t just any demon schmuck, it was a demon king. The demon king who now possessed the body of the prince wants to go back to hell, yet that is only possible after he fulfilled his contractee’s wishes.

While his brother decided to return to Earth, he decided to stay in Hela. However, six years to the present, he learned that his brother was murdered. Without any fuss, he decides to go to Earth to find out who did it and make them pay.

The world’s strongest hero was just a memory to everyone because it was assumed that he died in the Tower of Demons. Through his sacrifice, the world was saved, or so as it was said by his comrades. However, Lee Geon is still alive, and had been fighting for his life inside the tower for 20 years. When he finally came out of the tower, he discovered that his will was ignored, his assets were stolen, and worst was that the traitors who backstabbed him inside the tower have claimed the world for themselves.
