As stated by Murphy’s Law, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. So, it’s not odd for bad things to happen to anyone transported to another world. I think it’s weird that they just get a cheat, become OP and get everything handed to them. Many isekai stories fail to consider many factors such as the effect of the world’s environment to the otherworlder, the otherworlder’s psychological state, the feeling of isolation… My point is it is more likely for an isekai to go wrong than not. Don’t you think so?

A fantasy world may be a dream to many, but those who are summoned to be heroes often desire to go back home. However, saving an entire world doesn’t necessarily fulfill one’s wish to a T. Many returned heroes having been gone for a long time are likely to face the loss of loved ones, the feeling of alienation and the absence of agency that they could rely on. What happens when these individuals who wield overwhelming powers snap? It’s a man-made disaster. During a hero’s rampage in the city, Park Jeongsu lost everything and was summoned as a hero to another world. With vengeance as his raison d’etre, he succeeds in saving a world and comes back only to realize that his country has been plunged into a hellhole of misery and suffering by heroes gone rogue.

Goblins are one of the easiest mob monsters, aren’t they? However, fighting one in a game is an entirely different experience to fighting it in real life. Haruhiro, along with other teenagers, woke up in a strange world where they were conscripted into a reserve army force. They were left without much choice but to adapt to their circumstances. The fear of facing against actual monsters, the toll to one’s psyche after their first kill and the death of friends and acquaintances… nothing in this world is easy.

Too bad his system didn’t follow the script, and instead of helping him grow stronger, the little thing took away his protagonist aura and disappeared. He died, bro. However, what remained of his soul didn’t want to go out without a fight, so he worms his way through birds and the village nearby to start his inhuman journey of invading other worlds in his pursuit of godhood.

To help him survive, Tsukoyomi, the Earth god who help finalized the deal, gave him a blessing. What Makoto did not know was that he was basically a fish in the water in this foreign world; he now has free reign of his powerful magic that was unusable in the magic-barren Earth.

He used to be a normal teen, but after getting stuck in the world of Fantasia just to repeat the same storyline time and again, his personality morphed into one who is callous and has complete disregard for the well-being of anyone else but himself.

On average, there is one vending machine for every 23 people on Japan. That’s a lot of vending machines, and the probability of being crushed by one maybe isn’t that low. Our protagonist, a vending machine otaku, dies that way. As if being pranked on by fate, he also reincarnates as a vending machine inside a dungeon. He eventually finds a customer… *ahem* a female adventurer willing to take him along in her dungeon crawling.
My Rating: 8/10 (This is a really weird isekai story.)

God was running out of options. The world that she is supervising is almost overrun with undead after a spell went awry, and raising heroes accomplished nothing. Finally, she resorted to summoning a heroes from another world. The 27-year-old Lee Shinwoo is one of them, and makes a deal with god in exchange for his service. What this deal amounted to he ultimately found out after arriving in the other world.

Loki, the 5th ranked player of a globally popular yet infamous gacha game was used to throwing away trash characters in order to keep an optimal party configuration for dungeon raids. That’s just the meta. But what will he do now that he has become a trash character, a one-star farmer? Out of nowhere, he was dragged into the game that he was playing. Die or die trying, he has no other choice but to tough it out and grow stronger along with the other party members that survives. Only by living on can he slap the vicious NPC fairy and find out who trapped him in this game.
